About the role
Fleetwood Urban are looking to engage with a dynamic, driven, and experienced Business Development Officer to join our high performing team.
Whilst the preference is for this role to be based in Geelong VIC, there is opportunity for flexible work with regular time spent in our Geelong office.
This role exists to provide a steady pipeline of project opportunities that can be researched, nurtured, and handed over to our Client Relations team to convert to a win,
**Responsibilities**:
Lead generation through follow-up and introductions
Initial point of contact for all new opportunity enquiries
Setting calendar appointments for Client Relations team
Client presentations
Review of leads to progress through to Client Relations team
Educating the market with regards to our product offering
Maintaining and updating Salesforce CRM with all activity undertaken
**Skills and Experiences**:
About You
Experience in phone-call follow-up
Experience in dealing with architects and specifiers
Proven ability to drill into detail to get the information required
Persistent and consistent performance
Friendly, yet professional
Proven ability to work with a team
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), along with superior attention to detail
Highly motivated and dynamic lateral thinker
Construction Industry (preferred)
