Working closely alongside your fellow Maintenance Officer, the residents and fellow staff, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks around our retirement village.
You'll spend your day being hands-on with repair tasks and working with contractors or internal team members to ensure the village is maintained and presentable for all to enjoy.

This new opportunity is a full time position working Monday – Friday (8am – 4pm)What we offer$36.14p/h + relevant Aged Care Award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuationEmployee Referral Program and Employee Assistance ProgramDiscounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providersOpportunities for further career progressionBe part of a friendly and supportive team in a caring retirement living communityYou willIdentify and respond to maintenance requests as requested (e.g painting, patching or general troubleshooting)Carry out, and ensure all planned preventative maintenance checks are completed as per schedulesWork with the Aveo Facilities team and contractors to ensure external works are attended to and completed to a high standardConduct regular inspections around the village to rectify any maintenance defects and issuesComplete maintenance administration items, including responding to emails, raising work orders and updating recordsEnjoy connecting with residents around the village and build on resident satisfactionAssist with any other tasks around the village to ensure resident satisfactionPlease note - this is not a gardening role.
