SALARY: $************* per hour + Casual Loading + Super

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Casual Events Supervisor within our Camden Civic Centre Events Team. Reporting to the Team Leader Cultural Operations and Events, this role will be responsible for overseeing the Civic Centre Casual Events team to ensure the successful execution of functions and events within the Camden Civic Centre and alternate Council owned facilities.
The Events Supervisor will maintain liaison between front and back of house staff and customers during operations, they will also uphold the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) practices, deliver excellence in customer service, ensure compliance with legislative requirements, and adhere to Council's standard of excellence.

Essential
A demonstrated understanding and appreciation of quality customer service.
Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role in the service industry (functions and events) and proven ability to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including conflict resolution.
Ability to effectively organise and prioritise workloads including problem solving and managing last minute changes and requests.
Flexible availability over a seven-day casual roster.
Demonstrated ability to apply EEO and WHS principles.
Current RSA and ID Card, including Sexual Harassment and Violence Prevention Training.
Current Drivers licence.
First Aid qualifications.
Desirable
Food Safety Training.
