About the Role
Reporting to the Clinical Director, the Quality Educator plays a pivotal role in supporting clinical excellence across the organisation. This position provides leadership, guidance, and education to clinical and management teams, helping to embed best practice, strengthen governance, and foster a strong culture of learning and continuous improvement.
You will be a trusted clinical resource, supporting teams to deliver safe, compassionate, and high-quality care while enhancing both resident and staff experiences. This is a rewarding and varied role, ideal for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about education, mentoring others, and driving positive change within aged care.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with the Clinical Director and leadership team to provide clinical guidance and quality leadership
* Act as a key clinical resource, encouraging collaboration between residents, families, and care teams
* Deliver on-site education, assess competencies, and support ongoing professional development
* Design and deliver engaging, evidence-based education programs tailored to identified learning needs
* Mentor and support new and transitioning nurses, helping bridge theory into practice
* Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and compliance activities
* Investigate and manage Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS) matters
* Conduct audits, analyse findings, and support ongoing improvements in care delivery and operations
About You
* Full Australian working rights
* Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* A solid clinical background, ideally with experience in aged care or a related healthcare setting
* Strong communication skills with the ability to educate, mentor, and positively influence others
* A genuine passion for quality, education, and continuous improvement
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable but not essential
