Fleet Technician Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled technician to join our operations team.
The successful candidate will participate in the operation of our fleet workshop by undertaking trade-based activities required to diagnose, maintain, repair light fleet and plant machinery.
* Responsible for carrying out diagnostic testing and fault diagnosis of vehicle compliance requirements to meet industry standards.
* Conduct general mechanical and electrical maintenance repairs plus engineering projects.
* Perform general plant work including maintenance, inspection, repairs and adjustments to all fleet assets.
* Responsible for vehicle refits, maintenance and repairs.
* Undertake field-based plant and equipment maintenance during planned and unplanned situations.
* Provide mechanical engineering assistance with the fit-out and inspections of new vehicles when required.
About You
For this role we are looking for someone with hands-on experience in the motor and mechanical industry, with strong skills in heavy and light fleet operations, plant equipment, and specialist trades. The ideal candidate should be confident working with hydraulics, pneumatics, auto electrics, and fabrication, and understand key industry standards and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology OR Certificate III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
* Current NSW Drivers License (HR).
* WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Cert.
