**Job Summary**
Medirest is committed to providing care and empathy in all interactions. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at the University of Canberra Public Hospital.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Perform general hospital cleaning duties as required, including discharge cleaning, ward cleaning, and collection of waste.
* Receive work requests from the internal helpdesk team to assist with urgent cleans or additional tasks around the hospital.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen and dining areas and with equipment.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
* Experience with cleaning equipment in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
* Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy.
* Great communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
* Possess a Working with Vulnerable People Check, Police Check, COVID vaccination, and serology clearance (or be willing to obtain).
