* +5% attraction and retention allowance where the officer holds a complete qualification recognised by Environmental Health Australia (EHA).
* +$6,000 relocation allowance for suitable candidates

What Your Day Will Look Like
* Offer expert guidance on environmental health issues to customers and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and top-notch customer service.
* Conduct inspections, investigations, and compliance actions related to public health, environmental health, and regulatory services, ensuring adherence to relevant legislation and local laws.
* Contribute to the creation and improvement of policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure the efficient delivery of environmental health services and regulatory compliance.
* Assess and respond to customer requests in a timely and appropriate manner

What You'll Need For Success
Level 5
* The Officer holds or is currently enrolled and actively completing a Degree in Applied Science (Environmental Health) or other qualification allowing eligibility for professional membership of Environmental Health Australia
* Up to 2 years experience in an Environmental Health‐related role.
* Current Class C Driver's Licence
Level 6
* AQF Level 7 (or above) Degree in Applied Science (Environmental Health) or other qualification allowing eligibility for Environmental Health Australia membership.
* Minimum 2 years total experience as an Environmental Health Officer.
