The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief Executive Officer to join their dynamic organization on an interim basis.
As a critical member of the executive team, the Deputy CEO will provide high-level strategic leadership across sector partnerships and key community development and justice reform initiatives. This role will maintain strong cross-sector relationships with Aboriginal communities, funders, government stakeholders, and sector partners, support the executive team and CEO, ensure accurate and timely reporting of deliverables, and contribute to executive-level planning, risk management and governance reporting.
Qualifications
* Must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
* Background ideally in justice leadership, community development, ACCOs, or related sectors.
* Experienced senior leader with proven track record in program delivery.
* Deep understanding of the National Closing the Gap Agreement, key justice policy issues, and justice reform.

* Ability to motivate and inspire teams, provide mentoring, and set performance standards.
* Experience and confidence as a spokesperson with excellent public communication capability.
* Strong knowledge and respect for Aboriginal cultural practices and a deep understanding of cultural, social, and justice issues affecting Aboriginal communities.
