We are seeking an Assistant Wrestling Coach to support our head coach in all aspects of the program, including practice, competition, and student development.
Key Responsibilities
* Instructing wrestlers, managing equipment, and ensuring a positive and safe environment.
* Assisting with teaching wrestling techniques, strategies, and rules to students.
* Organizing and conducting practice sessions, including drills, warm-ups, and skill development exercises.
* Supporting matches, planning strategy, and ensuring athletes are prepared for competition.
* Mentoring students, promoting sportsmanship, and helping them develop their physical and mental skills.
* Maintaining equipment, supervising locker rooms, and ensuring facilities are ready for practices and competitions.
* Communicating effectively with students, parents, and other coaches, and assisting with paperwork and communication related to the program.
* Ensuring athletes are properly supervised during practices and competitions, following established procedures in case of injury.
