The role
Due to growth in awareness of the importance of sleep health, a role is now available for an energetic, efficient and professional individual to join our team as a Pacific Sleep Clinician. The role of a CPAP and Sleep clinician is to provide care to clients undertaking sleep studies, following consultations with specialist sleep and respiratory physicians. For clients diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnoea, Pacific Sleep clinicians offer support, education and ongoing clinical care with CPAP or other therapies.
Clinicians are also responsible for administrative and general support to ensure that professional and efficient service is consistently provided to our clients.
The role is based at our Hornsby clinic. Full-time is our preference, though we may consider a part-time or job share role, depending on applicants. Initial training may be done at one of our other clinics, and preference would be given to candidates who are able to work at other sites when required. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
What we're looking for:
● Minimum 2 years demonstrated ability in a clinical role within a busy, customer-focused healthcare environment.
● A 'people-person', with a compassionate, flexible and client-focused approach.
● A genuine team-player, who is keen to do their part in making the workplace feel happy, safe, friendly and collaborative.
● Experience working with medical professionals, including specialist doctors.
● Excellent computer literacy and knowledge and experience working with medical and other software (accounting, CRM etc).
● Ability to multi-task and navigate between multiple applications.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
● Experience managing client files and clinical note taking.
● Relevant healthcare qualification (nursing, respiratory therapy, or equivalent healthcare diploma/degree)
● Permanent right to work in Australia (Australian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa)
● Holds or ability to obtain NDIS Worker Clearance, first aid certificate.
