Key Responsibilities:
A skilled engineer is required to join our team in a Devonport-based role.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing, updating, and maintaining written instructions for planned preventative maintenance tasks across the fleet.
About the Role:
* Translate technical knowledge into clear, actionable documentation that supports the safe and effective operation of weapons systems.
* Work closely with maintainers, operators, OEMs, subject matter experts, and Defence stakeholders to ensure maintenance procedures are accurate and practical.
* Conduct site visits to inspect equipment and gather insights as part of maintenance investigations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 4+ years' experience in weapons or mission systems engineering.
* Strong hands-on diagnostic and technical troubleshooting ability.
* Understanding of computer maintenance management systems (e.g., CMMS).
* Excellent written and verbal communication.
* Understanding of maintenance standards and documentation.
* Proven ability to deliver timely engineering solutions.
* Competent with technical documentation and engineering analysis.
* Strong teamwork and collaboration in technical settings.
