This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro‐rated to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

What You'll Be Doing
* Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate clinical education programmes to support ongoing professional clinical development of nursing and midwifery staff, thereby maintaining quality care outcomes for patients and clients.
* Provide mentorship and guidance to nurses and midwives to advance their clinical skills and ensure exceptional care.
* Collaborate with clinical teams and educational partners to design learning pathways and deliver training.

Qualifications and Selection Criteria
* Current nursing/midwifery registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Current Certificate as a Workplace Trainer and Assessor (currently Certificate IV) or willingness to attain within 12 months
* Three years' experience as a Registered Nurse providing preceptorship and mentoring using adult learning principles and facilitation skills
* Credentialed as an Advanced Life Support Instructor, or willingness to obtain within 12 months
* Evidence of participation in professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and skill enhancement as a Registered Nurse
* Effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication, advanced computer skills and use of software for education
* Eligibility to drive in NSW and readiness to travel across rural and remote areas
