About the Role
An opportunity exists for a Senior Consultant - Leadership, Capability & Performance Reporting to the Manager, Leadership, Capability and Performance, this role will lead or significantly contribute to enterprise-wide organisational development initiatives across performance, employee experience, leadership, and capability.
The role will coordinate and drive a specific workforce performance project over the contract period, focused on optimising employee performance and engagement. You will work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across People & Culture and the broader organisation to design and deliver high-quality programs, frameworks, and solutions. We are seeking an experienced OD practitioner with a strong focus on culture, leadership, and performance, ideally with facilitation experience.
Key Duties:
* Lead or significantly contribute to enterprise-wide performance, leadership, capability, and employee experience programs aimed at improving organisational performance
* Lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of complex OD and performance projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, governance, timelines, and budgets
* Drive key initiatives including performance programs, cultural initiatives, employee experience surveys and action planning, performance cycles, leadership and capability programs, and reward and recognition initiatives
* Design, source, implement, and maintain OD frameworks, programs, resources, and toolkits aligned to organisational priorities
* Build strong partnerships across the organisation, providing expert advice and working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver outcomes
* Analyse and interpret complex workforce and performance data to identify trends, root causes, and insights, and translate findings into evidence-based recommendations
* Provide meaningful reporting and insights to support decision-making, including contributions to senior leader and executive-level presentations
* Develop high-quality reports, communications, materials, toolkits, and reference documents
* Plan, deliver, and facilitate workshops and briefings, applying adult learning and instructional design principles
* Apply sound judgement and original thinking to deliver innovative, practical solutions in complex environments
Experience Required:
* A relevant degree with extensive organisational development experience, or progress toward postgraduate qualifications, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
* Demonstrated experience designing and delivering organisational development solutions with a strong focus on performance, leadership, culture, and employee experience
* Strong project management experience delivering complex programs to scope, time, and budget
* Proven ability to analyse and interpret complex data to generate insights and inform targeted interventions
* Experience coaching and advising senior leaders and working effectively with complex stakeholder groups
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, negotiate, and build trusted relationships across teams and locations
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality delivery
* Must hold or be willing to obtain a Victorian Working with Children Check
