About The Role
As a Director/ Executive Director in the C&E Strategy Team, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing ANZ's C&E Strategy and in driving our strategic partnership with Pollination. This role will report to the Head of Climate and Environment Strategy.
You will lead multiple workstreams, establish governance structures, and coordinate working groups to deliver on our C&E Strategy action plans across the bank.
Your responsibilities include collaborating with senior stakeholders across divisions such as Climate Risk, Group ESG, and Group Strategy to monitor progress and ensure initiatives align with regulatory standards and business goals.
We seek a driven individual with commercial acumen and a passion for environmental issues, capable of delivering results and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders. Navigating a rapidly changing landscape with agility will be essential.

Daily Responsibilities
Implement and deliver the C&E Strategy
Engage with senior stakeholders, including presenting at executive forums
Lead strategy workstreams, coordinate activities, and prepare materials for committees
Build and monitor governance models in collaboration with stakeholders
Manage our strategic partnership with Pollination, ensuring delivery of priorities
Develop and implement communication plans
Provide strategic advice and monitor climate developments impacting ANZ
Oversee workstreams related to Mandatory Climate Disclosures
Foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment
Qualifications and Skills
Strategic and commercial thinking, with a proactive approach
Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
Experience in strategy development and delivery
Strong relationship-building skills
Problem-solving ability
Adaptability and resilience
Additional Skills (Preferred)
Experience in equity investments or advisory services
Knowledge of finance or corporate sectors
