About the Role
Join Calvary Riverina Hospital as an After-Hours Nurse Manager, where you'll provide operational leadership during evening and night shifts. This vital role ensures safe, high-quality patient care and supports the hospital's business objectives. You'll work closely with the Executive team, respond to incidents and emergencies promptly, and foster a positive workplace culture aligned with Calvary's values.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage unplanned staff leave and ensure adequate coverage
* Coordinate patient flow after hours
* Liaise with VMOs and external facilities for admissions
* Lead emergency responses after hours
* Address and escalate patient and family concerns
About You:
* Current AHPRA Registration
* Post-graduate experience in clinical nursing within public or private health
* Proven management experience at department or facility level
* Strong understanding of quality improvement and accreditation standards
* Skilled in change management and fostering positive workplace culture
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team
