We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full‐time and part‐time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year and up to the end of Term 1, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Eden Hill Primary School has a well‐established reputation for providing a comprehensive, inclusive and high quality curriculum which includes Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), music, Italian and visual arts for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school also boasts a Specialist Learning Program for autistic students, which offers a supportive environment to foster academic growth and social and emotional development. Our school is well‐known in our community for encouraging student excellence through thoughtful, focused and values enriched teaching and learning programs. We pay attention to the individual needs of our children and work with parents and the wider community to provide a comprehensive education. The Role

Suitable applicants will ideally be outstanding classroom practitioners who can continue and enhance current school practices. The application of effective instructional strategies to engage and challenge learners in a supportive and safe learning environment is highly regarded. Applicants will ideally require an expertise in differentiating the curriculum, catering for students of varying ability and motivating them to achieve to their full potential.

Suitable applicants should display success in working in an environment characterised by whole school approaches; Professional Learning Communities and the opportunity to take on leadership roles and responsibilities.

As new staff members you should implement school‐wide practices to meet the needs of students and ensure the creation of an environment that promotes success. These practices include Visible Learning, Positive Behaviour Support, Letters and Sounds, Talk 4 Writing, Guided Reading and Promoting Literacy Development (PLD), Spelling Mastery, Paul Swan Maths amongst others.

Suitable applicants will ideally believe in going deeper than just delivering the required curriculum and that knowing students individually, culturally and developmentally is just as important. Genuine and meaningful relationships will be the key to student and school success. We would welcome applications from teachers that have experience in inclusive and trauma‐informed practices.
