About the role
Holcim is currently expanding their Mt Louisa team and as a result, we are looking for a Plant operator with Front End Loader experience to join the team.
Roles in Concrete Plants are fast paced and will require you to be a strong problem solver, process driven with a high level of attention to detail.
Start times can vary depending on operational requirements, however you can expect to start between 4am and 6am most mornings, with the occasional earlier start required.
Duties and responsibilities:
* Operate a front end loader and forklift
* Production of concrete using multiple systems and processes
* Allocating and assigning loads to drivers
* Stock management and coordination of deliveries
* Managing contractors carrying out site maintenance
* Provide high level customer service to our clients
* General yard maintenance and tidiness
We are more than happy to train the right person on systems and process, and overtime work is always available
About you:
You will have experience in a similar role with the ability to operate a front end loader and forklift.
You will also be a team player with a strong work ethic & a genuine interest in building a career with us.
We will train you up on our systems, however, you will come to us with a good level of computer skills (word, excel & google docs).
You will have a keen interest in learning new computer systems, audit processes and a variety of other duties.

The key to succeeding in this role is your excellent communication skills (both written & verbal), the ability to pick up computer systems quickly, and your outstanding customer service.
You will be required to pass a police check, as well as a full medical which includes functional assessment, and drug & alcohol screening.
You must also hold unrestricted Australian work rights, with no limitation on hours or duration of employment.
