The Opportunity

Metalcorp is looking for a Storepers to join the team based in Dandenong.

Metalcorp is a steel and aluminium distributor also specialising in rural products. It is the rural brand for the land with branches in regional locations and is trusted by customers for the quality of its products and the service of its people. The tailored product range includes specialised livestock handling equipment, building materials, structural and tubular steel, fencing, roofing, aluminium and more.

This role is full-time and permanent, offering a competitive weekly rate along with eligibility for overtime and a quarterly performance bonus.

Working Monday to Friday onsite in Dandenong, this is a permanent full-time role and work to 4.30pm.

What Will You Do?

In this role, you will be part of the team producing our high-quality steel products, with a strong focus on safety and attention to detail to ensure only the finest quality is delivered – on time, every time.

Your day-to-day work can include:

* supporting and promoting a safe working environment
* operating machinery to process our products
* operating equipment such as forklift and cranes
* packing, strapping, and monitoring products to ensure quality control

Some positions may involve lifting and manual handling, as well as exposure to noise and the work environment can vary with the seasons – warmer in summer, cooler in winter. We ensure that all our employees are supported with the necessary training, guidance, and equipment to complete all tasks safely.

Recruitment Process

Our recruitment process is designed to give you the chance to learn more about us while we get to know you. It involves:

* completing an online assessment and/or phone screen
* attending an interview on site (inclusive of a site walk and role overview)
* prior to commencing, you will be required to successfully complete pre‐employment medical (including a drug and alcohol screen) and reference checks.
