This role combines hands-on gardening with light maintenance duties, offering variety and purpose in your day-to-day work.
* Maintain gardens and outdoor areas: mowing, pruning, fertilising, and removing garden waste
* Perform general maintenance and minor repairs across the facility
* Support preventative maintenance schedules
* Assist and supervise contractors, volunteers, and other maintenance workers
* Provide pet care (where applicable) and perform orderly duties
* Keep accurate records using our asset management system
You'll be working as part of a supportive team, helping to create a safe, welcoming, and peaceful environment for residents.
Your Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include:
1. Maintenance of gardens and outdoor areas
2. General maintenance and minor repairs
3. Preventative maintenance support

6. Record keeping
You'll need to have at least 12 months' experience in a maintenance, gardening, or handyman role, along with a current driver's licence and knowledge of Work Health and Safety practices.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you'll need to have:
* At least 12 months' experience in a maintenance, gardening, or handyman role
* A current driver's licence
* Knowledge of Work Health and Safety practices
* Basic computer skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
It's a bonus if you have experience in aged care or community services, familiarity with asset management systems, or relevant non-trade qualifications.
