Project Manager – Queensland Parks & Wildlife Service Partnerships Team

What You'll Do
* Lead, manage, and implement agreement‐making strategies that incorporate First Nations perspectives, community needs, and co‐management principles.
* Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with First Nations peoples, traditional owners, and key stakeholders.
* Provide high‐level expertise and advice on agreement‐making, including preparing briefings and Cabinet submissions.
* Manage projects and teams, ensuring timely delivery of outcomes aligned with the Agency's strategic direction.
* Develop and implement resource strategies, monitor performance, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
* Foster a workplace culture that supports equity, diversity, respect, and inclusion, while promoting the interests of First Nations peoples.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in developing and implementing agreements with First Nations peoples that align with their rights and aspirations while balancing government priorities.
* Strong project management skills, including resource management and delivering outcomes on time.
* Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex information in culturally proficient ways.
* A commitment to workplace safety, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
* Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including fostering a culture of continuous improvement and supporting team development.
Additional Requirements
* Legal right to work in Australia.
* Cultural capability to engage effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
* A valid driver's licence (or willingness to obtain one).
* Occasional travel, including overnight stays, may be required.
