An opportunity has become available for the services of experienced Steel Assemblers within our Steel Fabrication Department based at Caloundra. We are seeking self-motivated, hard working people to join our team. The role is 38hrs a week Monday to Friday with occasional overtime. Ideally the successful candidates will start in the new year. Note: We are looking for more than one candidate.
About the role:
* Assembling steel frames and roof trusses for houses.
* Work effectively in a team environment
* Use hand tools such as a screw gun.
* Follow safe working standards and procedures
* No welding required
Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience using hand tools
* Read simple drawings
* Ideally from assembly and/or manufacturing environment
* Mechanically minded
* Must be able to lift 20kgs
* Use of roll forming machine would be advantageous but not essential
* Be well presented
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Able to follow procedures
* Must have the right to work in Australia
