Freyssinet Australia is seeking a motivated and proactive QSE Coordinator to join our growing Western Australia Remedial team. With our project pipeline continuing to expand, this is an exciting opportunity to support safety, quality, and environmental performance across a diverse range of remedial and strengthening projects.
This role will be project‐based on site, providing hands‐on QSE support. Regardless of the project outcome, we're investing in strengthening our QSE capability in WA and are ready to meet strong candidates immediately.
About The Role
Reporting to the WA Remedial Manager and working closely with our national QSE team, the QSE Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring our operations meet the highest safety and quality standards.
You will support site teams across planning, compliance, audits, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping maintain our strong culture of safety and operational excellence.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about safety, enjoys working in a dynamic site environment, and is ready to grow their career within a leading specialist contractor.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day‐to‐day QSE support to project teams, supervisors, and site crews
* Assist with the implementation and monitoring of site‐specific Safety and Environmental Management Plans
* Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and compliance checks
* Lead and document incident investigations, corrective actions, and follow‐up
* Deliver toolbox talks, inductions, and safety training as required
* Support internal audits and continuous improvement activities
* Maintain QSE documentation, reporting, and system compliance
* Promote a strong safety culture across all project activities
What We're Looking For
Experience: Minimum 3 years in construction or equivalent project environment.
Qualifications: Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety or equivalent.
Desirable Experience: Exposure to building maintenance, cladding, and construction; working with multiple subcontractors in high‐risk environments; experience at heights using scaffold structures, mast climbers, and swing stages.
Skills & Capabilities
* Strong communication and relationship‐building skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft applications.
* Sound planning and organisational skills to meet deadlines.
* Understanding of OHS integration within broader operational environments.
* Ability to analyse complex information, consider input from others, and develop creative solutions.
