Community Services #1 is seeking Casual Home Care Worker(s) to deliver high-quality, person-centred care that supports independence and wellbeing.
About us:
Community Services #1 is a not-for-profit supporting people and families across the ACT and surrounding NSW. With over 200 employees and volunteers, we deliver services that strengthen community wellbeing and belonging.
About the role:
* Provide support and care based on each client’s individualised support plan.
* Provide domestic assistance, personal care, support services that assist recovery and independence.
* Support clients with transport, appointments, communication, and participation in community, leisure, and wellness activities.
* Maintain accurate daily shift notes, monitor client wellbeing, and promptly escalate any concerns to the Team Leader.
* Ensure dignity, privacy, and respect in all interactions, while adhering to confidentiality, the Aged Care Code of Conduct, and collaborating with families and stakeholders.

About you:
* Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent, relevant experience delivering home care/aged care support (domestic assistance and/or personal care) and 3+ months aged carer experience.
* Current First Aid and CPR
* Current Driver’s License and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
* Able to obtain required pre-employment checks (Police Check and Working with Children Check)
* Strong documentation and confidentiality practice.
