Researcher Position

This role presents a unique opportunity to collaborate with an esteemed research team focused on cutting-edge studies in ME/CFS, Long COVID, and Gulf War Illness. As part of our dynamic research environment, you will have the chance to contribute to pioneering projects that aim to identify biomarkers and understand the physiological mechanisms underlying these conditions.


Job Responsibilities:

* Conduct research projects through experimental design, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
* Prepare publications, reports, and presentations that showcase your findings.
* Support grant applications and funding proposals to secure resources for ongoing and future projects.
* Supervise and mentor junior researchers and students, fostering their growth and development within the research community.
* Engage actively in academic discussions and debates within the NCNED and broader Griffith Health community.


Qualifications and Skills:

* A PhD in immunology, cell biology, or molecular genetics is required.
* Experience in biomedical research is essential.
* A strong publication record showcasing your expertise and contributions to the field.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to navigate complex research challenges.
* A collaborative mindset, allowing you to work effectively within a team-based research environment.
