The Safety Professional Role is an exciting opportunity to promote safe operations and manage risks within an organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in incident investigations to identify root causes and ensure corrective actions are completed, maintaining the incident management database
* Implement safety improvement, education, and monitoring programs within regions
* Support and maintain certification to Australian and international standards through external HSEQ audits
* Build relationships with clients to demonstrate how operations manage risks and add value to their business
* Assist in tender preparations and presentations, including developing management plans
* Stay updated on regulatory changes and communicate updates to stakeholders
* Analyze safety performance metrics to identify improvement areas and report regularly to the business
* Assist in managing subcontractors and suppliers, including selection and onboarding

Requirements
* Proven leadership in safe operations and influencing senior leaders to adhere to HSEQ standards
* Experience implementing and monitoring HSEQ programs in a multi-service environment
* Degree or Diploma in a relevant field and/or Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
* Experience in a trades environment
* Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders, including subcontractors and clients
* Qualifications in ICAM investigations and root cause analysis are preferred
* Experience with Rapidgobal subcontractor management software is preferred
