About The Role

As our Psychosocial Wellbeing Specialist, you'll support the planning, implementation and delivery of psychosocial initiatives and programs that enhance the psychological health of our employees, creating an environment where our people can thrive.

Key responsibilities

* Legislative compliance and psychosocial risk management: developing and implementing psychosocial risk management strategies to identify, assess and mitigate workplace factors that may impact mental health, ensuring alignment with legislative requirements.
* Strategic Leadership & Program Design: overseeing the implementation and evaluation of V/Line's Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy, including consultation with employees and teams.
* Training & Capability Building: design and delivery of targeted training programs and workshops, including Mental Health First Aid and Psychological First Aid, to build trauma-informed capability and resilience.
* Engagement & Communication: coordinate and manage multi-channel communications to promote mental wellbeing initiatives and enhance engagement.

About You

Experienced in working with complex and diverse workforces, including operational and frontline staff, you will use your ability to lead through influence and apply a strategic approach that empowers stakeholders to cascade change effectively throughout the organisation.

Our ideal candidate will possess the following

* Tertiary qualifications in organisational psychology, public health, or a related discipline, with a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging trends.
* Expertise in psychosocial risk management, including experience in psychosocial hazard identification, conducting risk assessments, and developing mitigation strategies, alongside strong knowledge of relevant legislation, frameworks, and best practices in workplace mental health and wellbeing.
* Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating mental health and wellbeing programs within complex organisational environments.
* Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence, coach, and collaborate across all levels of the organisation.
* Proven ability to develop and deliver targeted training programs, such as Mental Health First Aid and Psychological First Aid and create engaging educational resources.
