Permanent Part Time Administrative Assistant
A local catering company is seeking a Permanent Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support their operations. The role involves managing office administration, handling supplier orders, monitoring inventory, and occasionally assisting with general kitchen and factory duties for large catering jobs.
Requirement
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clear notes, emails, and maintain spreadsheets.
* Exceptional organizational abilities, time management, and a high attention to detail.
* Ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, keep accurate records, and work both independently and collaboratively.
Work Conditions
* Permanent part-time position with a minimum of 15 hours per week.
* Required workdays are strictly Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
* Potential for additional hourly-paid hours depending on business needs.
* Work environment splits between general office spaces and a kitchen/factory setting.
Responsibilities
* Oversee and control inventory levels by recording stock.
* Arrange, manage, and process weekly orders to suppliers.
* Accept, check, and store deliveries to maintain food safety and ensure quality.
* Prioritize and collate invoices for payment.
* Support the customer service team and assist with general office tasks.
* Assist with general kitchen and factory duties, including cleaning, storing, and helping with large catering jobs.
