The role of Logistics Manager is to oversee the logistics, warehousing, purchasing and stock control for the Perth office, you will be supporting the delivery of Projects for Progility's clients as directed. The ideal candidate is someone who has great attention to detail, the ability to work with others in a cohesive environment and has great problem-solving skills.
* Monitor and Improve efficiency and work practices.
* Creation of sales orders and projects in the ERP tool
* Purchasing of equipment and materials as per bill of materials
* Packaging of equipment and materials for dispatch to the customer site
* Completion of delivery documentation and liaising with Freight and Courier companies for inbound and outbound
* Assist with the scheduling of vehicle fleet maintenance.
* Attend and contribute to head office procurement meetings as part of the overall procurement team to ensure you are following group best practice and guidelines of Progility's Business Analyst.
* Assist in optimising inventory levels by monitoring stock levels, identifying excess or shortage situations, and recommending appropriate actions.
