We're seeking a reliable Kitchen Hand to join our kitchen team in our residential aged care facility.
* You will assist the Head Chef and Cook with meal preparation and presentation under their direction.
* You'll receive and store food deliveries promptly, maintaining correct stock rotation and temperature control.
* Serving meals courteously is essential, ensuring all dietary requirements are met and food is delivered safely and professionally.
* Maintaining accurate food safety documentation is crucial, adhering to our Vulnerable Persons Food Safety Program.
* You'll uphold WHS and infection control standards through strict adherence to hand hygiene, uniform policy, and kitchen cleaning procedures.
* Participating in ongoing quality improvement and reporting issues such as pests, hazards, or equipment damage is vital.
* You'll support the security of kitchen facilities, equipment, and stock.
A relevant Certificate in Food Safety is desirable, as is experience working in aged care or a food handling role.

About This Role
