This is more than just AR processing—it's a leadership role where you'll own the function end‐to‐end, partner with the business, and drive smarter, more efficient ways of working.
You'll play a key role in improving cashflow, reducing credit risk, and ensuring our financial processes are sharp, accurate, and future‐focused.
Responsibilities
* Lead the Accounts Receivable function, owning processes from invoicing through to collections
* Take charge of month‐end reporting, delivering clear insights to the broader business
* Partner closely with Sales and internal stakeholders to resolve queries, claims, and deductions
* Manage relationships with major retail customers, including navigating external portals
* Oversee collections activity – following up remittances, resolving discrepancies, and keeping things moving
* Coach, mentor and lead your team, building a high‐performing and supportive culture
* Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce risk, and strengthen cashflow outcomes
* Ensure accuracy, compliance, and a strong focus on safety and wellbeing
About you
You're a confident AR professional who enjoys owning outcomes and leading people. You bring both the technical know‐how and the commercial mindset to make a real impact.
Requirements
* Proven experience in accounts receivable, collections, and reconciliations
* Strong leadership capability – you know how to coach, support and lift team performance
* The ability to build relationships across Finance, Sales, and external customers
* Sharp attention to detail with strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
* Confidence managing competing priorities and deadlines
* Solid systems experience – SAP Business One and FMCG exposure highly regarded
* Advanced Excel skills
