Australian Citizens With NV1 Clearance residing in Australia only respondOverviewLC4S Branch is seeking an experienced Contract Management professional to support the ongoing management of the contractual framework which supports Defence Industry support to capability development efforts to enhance land force tactical communications.
Working with the existing LAND **** team, the Contractor will be proactive in managing day-to-day operations of contracts and seeking opportunities for improvement and efficiencies within the contracts and LC4S Branch management practices.
The Contractor will be adept at working with multi-disciplinary teams and varied stakeholders to ensure the Commonwealth meets all contractual obligations and achieves the required capability outcomes.ResponsibilitiesDevelop contract management framework, strategy and/or planDevelop contract performance metrics and requirementsConduct or contribute to performance and compliance reviews of suppliers under contract, including reviews of: Supplier self-assessments of service deliveryAchieving Australian Industry Capability (AIC) requirementsAdherence to appropriate WHS requirementsAdherence to appropriate environmental and ecological sustainability requirementsDevelop, supply, or operate a contract management system, or processes/tools, to record, monitor and track: Communications between the partiesPerformance of the contract and financial status (e.g. payments made, balance against securities, etc.)Material provided by one party to the otherVariations and change proposalsIntellectual propertyClaims by one party on the other (e.g. warranties, liquidated damages, defects, liabilities, etc.)Other important or necessary information in relation to the operation of the contractExperience / Skills SoughtRelevant qualifications and associated domain knowledgeContract management experience preferably with both Government and private organisationsA sound understanding of the content of the Defence Procurement Manual (DPM), and related guidance, and ASDEFCON based contractsServices are to be provided commensurate with relevant Australian and International Standards, regulations, and Defence requirementsService providers are to employ industry best practice when undertaking the ServicesEssential Experience and/or QualificationsExperience in vendor management or contract management and coordination functionsRequired SkillsSecuritiesSustainabilityContract ManagementService DeliveryService ProvidersBalanceManagement SystemAccountabilityVendor ManagementMetricsReviewsSupplyGovernmentWritingProcurement RegulationsStrategyPaymentsSuppliers Management
