Account Executive (Australia) – SaaS/IoT, Develop Australian Country Market
Role Overview: The Account Executive is responsible for growing and managing an allocated key account base within tier 1 contractors, asset owners, and developers. This role involves conducting thorough research to identify new leads, outreach, and providing exceptional customer support. The Account Executive will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, and will collaborate with various departments to ensure delivery of the best customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow an allocated key account base in the tier 1 contractor space at head office and project level, liaising with developers and clients.
- Achieve agreed direct sales revenue by deals and camera monthly.
- Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting (phone calls, LinkedIn, Email) to closing the deal, nurturing client relationships for upsell and cross‑selling opportunities.
- Ensure Evercam’s CRM system is updated with all meetings, contacts, companies, deals and notes.
- Operate in a remote working role with occasional travel required for site visits and networking events.
- Liaise with other Evercam departments such as Marketing, Operations and Customer Success to deliver the best customer experience.
- Grow your pipeline using construction lead generation platforms, LinkedIn and other sources provided.
- Manage inbound leads provided by the Marketing Team.
- Report progress in weekly sales meetings.
- Attend suitable networking events and tradeshows to represent Evercam.
- Region-wide travel may be required.
Requirements
- Experience of the full sales cycle and a proven history of smashing targets.
- Sold into the construction sector, ideally in the construction software industry.
- Drive and hustle to make things happen.
- While this is a remote role, we prioritize candidates based in NSW, Brisbane, or Melbourne.
