We are on a growth journey – now looking for our next star – a passionate Sales Support Officer.
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Sales Support Officer to support our Marine team in driving business growth and providing a high level of communication with our distributors, manufacturers and dealers. Reporting into the Marine Sales Manager ANZ, this is a fulltime position based at our office in Varsity Lakes, Queensland.
You will be responsible for supporting the APAC marine team, supporting distributors with general enquiries, order processing and order follow up.
Your Main Responsibilities
Provide exceptional support level to our customersInput, management and follow up of ordersMonitor and manage the B2B ordersEnsure effective processing and prioritisation of back ordersProvides order processing and administrative support to the Marine APAC team, particularly the external sales team during sales travel.Completes sales orders and return sales orders for customers within the region and applies the correct pricing and miscellaneous charges as agreed with the customer.Handles complaints concerning nonconforming product, and where applicable, refers complaints to the appropriate team member for investigation and resolution (e.g. Damage in Transit, Lost in Transit, Incorrect Supply, etc.)Ensures that all order processing related activities are completed in accordance with Dometic practices.Maintains an acceptable standard in housekeeping.Provides support during Dometic stocktakes on an as required basis.Interpret customer needs and provide support, including accurate spare parts recommendations aligned with product specifications.Trade show support as required.

A suitable background would be a solid experience within Customer Service and Internal Sales – as well as the following qualifications and experiences:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar roleA strong understanding of best practice customer serviceAble to handle competing prioritiesExceptional written and oral communication skillsSolid understanding of MS Platforms, especially ExcelReady for a new and exciting opportunity!
