The Role We’re looking for a hands-on Software Engineer with strong Java backend experience. You’ll join a team where you can have real influence, wide scope, and room to grow in a fun and rewarding environment. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing and building advanced features and systems in Java What We’re Looking For Years of experience as a Senior Engineer working in Java backend development Strong experience with building serverless APIs Strong understanding of Software Development principles Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Experience with both building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and query tuning (MySQL, Postgres, etc.) Solid experience and excellent grasp in performance tuning and debugging Comfortable working in Git Proficient in automated testing and writing testable code Familiar with modern app architectures and design patterns Excellent verbal and written communication skills A mentoring and influencing mindset A proactive mindset, ready to roll up your sleeves Bonus Points For Experience with AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, AppSync, S3, etc.) Background in building CI/CD pipelines
