Based at a cutting-edge logistics facility in Melbourne, this role is essential to maintaining operational excellence in one of Australia's most advanced automated sites.
The Role:
As the onsite automation expert, you'll be responsible for:
Performing corrective maintenance and troubleshooting on state-of-the-art equipment
Conducting scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability
Reporting on system performance, faults, and corrective actions
Building strong, trust-based relationships with site personnel
Providing on-the-job training and promoting system improvements
Managing spare parts and organizing tools and resources on-site
What We're Looking For:
Technical Skills:Qualifications in electromechanics or industrial automation
Experience in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces (with training)
Experience with Siemens, Beckhoff, Rockwell, or Allen Bradley PLCs (advantageous)
Soft Skills:Proactive, self-starting approach
Strong problem-solving under pressure
Excellent communication and fluent English
Eagerness to learn and grow in a tech-forward environment
Essential Requirements:UEE***** Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
A-grade Electrical Licence
Full Australian working rights
Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
