Based at a cutting-edge logistics facility in Melbourne, this role is essential to maintaining operational excellence in one of Australia’s most advanced automated sites.
The Role:
As the onsite automation expert, you'll be responsible for:
* Performing corrective maintenance and troubleshooting on state-of-the-art equipment
* Conducting scheduled preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability
* Reporting on system performance, faults, and corrective actions
* Building strong, trust-based relationships with site personnel
* Providing on-the-job training and promoting system improvements
* Managing spare parts and organizing tools and resources on-site
What We’re Looking For:
Technical Skills:
* Qualifications in electromechanics or industrial automation
* Experience in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
* Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces (with training)
* Experience with Siemens, Beckhoff, Rockwell, or Allen Bradley PLCs (advantageous)
Soft Skills:
* Proactive, self-starting approach
* Strong problem-solving under pressure
* Excellent communication and fluent English
* Eagerness to learn and grow in a tech-forward environment
Essential Requirements:
* UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
* A-grade Electrical Licence
* Full Australian working rights
* Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
