We have 4 openings with our consulting partner, to assist a national Utilities client across their businesses and process control system projects. With a Queensland portfolio of operations, we need experts on a short-term contract for Process ( Chemical ) Engineers to work within the Processing team of a large utilities organisation in Brisbane, QLD.
We are seeking an engineer to maintain a stable and standardised engineering environment in conjunction with the Planning, Operations, Delivery, and Digital Technology groups.
As part of the Engineering and Processing department, you will provide Process Engineering advice to the broader organisation. Being involved in the development of Process Engineering standards. You will contribute to several projects aimed at improving automation and process control of water treatment and bulk water distribution assets.
Your responsibilities and skills will include, but not limited to:
* Performance, Service Delivery, and Solutions Delivery.
* Provide services to enhance business and operational outcomes, with a focus on process optimization and automation.
* Supervising contractors and consultants within the team
* Improving plant capability, safety, and reliability by improving proactive maintenance systems
* Create and upkeep of policies, procedures, and standards appropriately capturing all applicable requirements contained in Acts, Regulations, National and International Standards
* Translate site, equipment, and control functionality into standardised, consistent control systems arrangements.
* PLC competence
* Must Have - WATER INDUSTRY
* Reviewing asset design deliverables
* Maintain a stable, standardised engineering environment and set a process control framework for the management of process systems.
* local site travel as and when required
Ideal Qualifications:
* Process/ Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience,
* Competent in configuring and programming various platforms
* Water Experience
* 'C' class Driver's licence - QLD
