Responsibilities

Sales and business development: Proactively identify and convert new opportunities, expanding the large-customer portfolio and increasing contracted volumes.
Lead generation: Develop and nurture a consistent pipeline through a range of outbound and partner channels.
Client relationship management: Onboard and manage key commercial clients, building long-term relationships and ensuring strong retention and satisfaction.
Product expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of retail energy and renewable solutions to confidently present value propositions to large customers.
Networking: Represent the business at industry events and leverage networks to drive new opportunities and partnerships.
Systems and reporting: Use CRM platforms and related tools to manage accounts, track activity, and report on performance.
Compliance and risk: Ensure all sales and account activities align with regulatory obligations and internal governance frameworks.

About you

Direct Sales Experience: Demonstrated experience in direct sales or a related field, with energy sector exposure highly valued.
Sales Performance: Proven ability to achieve or surpass targets and close deals efficiently.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication to build relationships, negotiate, and address client needs effectively.
Problem Solving: Skilled at identifying and resolving customer challenges promptly with practical solutions.
Industry Familiarity: Experience in the energy sector and understanding of large commercial customers and renewable solutions.
Market Awareness: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory updates to provide clients with relevant insights
