Job Title: Emergency Department Administration Officer (Level 3, Year 1-2)

Salary: $71,****** - $73,****** + super + salary packaging
About the role
Deliver a welcoming and professional experience for patients, families and visitors in a busy Emergency Department.
- Manage patient registrations, admissions and record updates with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support efficient patient flow by coordinating real‐time movement and status updates across the department.
- Handle billing, funding and payment processes to ensure accurate patient account management.
- Partner with clinical teams to provide high‐quality administrative support that helps deliver outstanding patient care.
About you
- Experienced in delivering exceptional customer service within a busy healthcare, hospital or high‐volume service workplace.
- A confident communicator who can engage professionally and empathetically with patients, visitors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, excellent data entry skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Tech‐savvy and comfortable working across multiple systems, with intermediate Microsoft Office skills and a high level of computer literacy.
- Resilient, adaptable and able to perform effectively under pressure while contributing positively to a 24/7 team environment.
