Classification: Academic Level C

Salary package: $138,972 - $154,462 per annum plus 17% superannuation

Term: Full-time, Continuing

The Stromlo Fellow will undertake independent research in radio astronomy. They will lead by example in developing and maintaining effective, productive and beneficial workplace relationships with all academic and professional School and College staff, as well as students and other stakeholders.

The Person

To excel in this role you will have:

* A PhD in astronomy and astrophysics or a related area.
* A record of leading independent individual and collaborative radio astronomy research activities.
* A track record of successfully supervising and graduating high quality PhD, Masters or undergraduate research students.
* Excellent oral and written English language skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate and interact effectively.
