We're looking for graduates who are passionate about making a real difference in people's lives by supporting them on their journey back to work and life after physical or psychological injury.
In this role, you'll be part of a dedicated team of allied health professionals working collaboratively to support clients on their path to recovery. Your primary goal will be to help individuals overcome the challenges they face due to psychosocial and mental health barriers to employment.
* You'll conduct initial assessments, perform new employment vocational assessments, transferable skills analysis, recovery support, and case management for return to same employment.
* As a key member of our team, you'll assess and report on psychological functional capacities and complete psychological functional assessments, providing valuable insights that inform rehabilitation plans.
* You'll also assess and make recommendations on the impact of mental health and medical conditions on an individual's ability to work, helping to identify potential barriers and develop strategies to overcome them.
* Your expertise will be crucial in writing detailed case notes and reports that accurately capture an individual's progress and needs.
* Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to provide Adjustment to Injury counselling and Vocational Counselling in-person and via phone to support clients' rehabilitation goals.
* You'll work with adult clients from diverse backgrounds, including those living with varying socioeconomic, educational, psychosocial, and nationality profiles.
