Job Description
As a Guest Service Agent at Mercure Brisbane Spring Hill, you will provide a warm and welcoming experience for our guests. Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, your key responsibilities include:
* Deliver exceptional guest service, including personalised greetings, efficient check‐in/check‐out processes, and handling queries and requests promptly.
* Manage guest accounts, process payments, and maintain accurate records of guest preferences and special requirements.
* Ensure the Front Office is well‐stocked and operates in compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
* Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to fulfil guest needs and special requests.
* Assist with concierge duties, providing local information and recommendations.
* Participate in regular training to enhance guest service skills and contribute to administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
* Relevant hospitality experience, preferably in hotels, with knowledge of Opera/Opera Cloud and MS Office Suite.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills with a strong customer‐service focus.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‐paced environment.
* Flexible availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
* Highly responsible and reliable with problem‐solving skills.
