Forklift Driver Afternoon Shift

We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join a leading food processing facility based in Melton South.
This is a great opportunity for a reliable operator looking for stable, ongoing work with long-term potential.
About the Role
In this fast-paced, high-volume environment, you will play a key role in the movement and handling of stock across multiple areas of the facility. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Duties
* Operating Reach Forklifts (slip-sheet experience highly regarded)
* Moving stock from inwards goods, freezer, and chiller areas
* Handling finished goods coming from production lines
* Completing put-aways and replenishment tasks
* Assisting the despatch department with loading, staging, and pallet organisation
* Maintaining accurate documentation and following strict food-safety procedures
* Ensuring all activities comply with site safety and hygiene requirements
To be successful, you will have:
* A valid Forklift Licence
* Proven experience operating a Reach Fork in a warehouse or food production environment
* Experience with slip sheets (advantage but not essential)
* Ability to work in freezer and chiller environments when required
* A strong safety focus and understanding of food-handling standards
* Reliability, consistency, and a positive work ethic
* Ability to work afternoon shift on an ongoing basis
