Family Counsellor
This role involves working as a part of our team to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. As a Family Counsellor, you will be encouraged to grow, develop and feel empowered to make the everyday easier for the people we care so passionately about.
Working in this position, you'll assist parents and carers to develop and strengthen their understanding and skills in the areas of parenting attachment, family relationship enhancement and children's behavioural management incorporating case planning.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
* Providing therapeutic processes and practices particularly in relation to children and families at risk
* Working within frameworks and practices that are strength based and recovery focused
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant human services field
* Demonstrated skills and sound knowledge gained through substantial experience working with children and families
* Current Drivers Licence
* Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
