Nanda\Hobbs is looking to hire a Logistics and Stock Manager. The role is integral to the successful running of the gallery.
We are looking for an energetic individual to look after all aspects of logistics and inventory management for our business.
The responsibilities of the role include:
● Managing Nanda Hobbs' storage facilities—including updating the CRM system and tracking of works in and out of our various facilities
● Coordinating with clients for artwork deliveries and installation
● Organising domestic and international deliveries
● Preparing and packaging artworks for dispatchment
● Liaising with artists
● Coordinating artworks for framing and stretching
● Complete stock-takes
● Assisting with gallery exhibition installations
● Assisting in coordination and installation of art fairs and external exhibitions
● Organising and attending events (as required)
The position of Logistics and Stock Manager is a varied role and will suit a highly organized individual who enjoys working on multiple tasks across the business. You will need strong organisational skills, be adept at dealing with a range of people and have a flexible and practical approach. This is a hands on role and will require physical movement of artworks.
You will ideally have experience in the art industry (tertiary qualifications desirable), the ability to prioritize and handle a number of tasks at once and have strong interpersonal and administrative skills. Experience with Excel, Word, Photoshop and Salesforce or other database management is a strong plus.
A "C" Class (ordinary driving licence) is a must as the role requires the use of a van (automatic).
