Territory Sales Manager – Advanced Research Technologies

Sell cutting-edge micro- and nano-fabrication technologies into universities, government labs, aerospace and high-tech industry.
This is a consultative, end-to-end sales role for someone who enjoys working with scientists and engineers, translating complex technical capability into real-world outcomes across quantum, photonics, semiconductors, advanced materials, MEMS and biomedical applications.
You'll own a defined territory across NSW, Canberra and New Zealand (North Island), managing both established accounts and new opportunities.
The role
* Grow and manage a high-value technical territory
* Identify new opportunities through research, networking and industry engagement
* Lead customers through complex capital equipment sales
* Execute territory plans, events and site visits
* Maintain CRM and pipeline discipline
About you
* Degree-qualified in engineering, materials science, physics or similar
* Experience selling into research, universities or government environments
* Strong consultative and relationship-based sales skills
* Track record of meeting sales targets
* PhD or micro/nano-fabrication experience highly regarded
* Work with front-edge research and engineering technology
* Highly autonomous role with strong technical backing
* Small, agile team and engaged customer base
* Territory spanning Australia and New Zealand
