About The Role
As Project Director, you'll take responsibility for the leadership, delivery, and performance of a portfolio of townhouse and multi-unit projects across Victoria. You'll provide direction and mentorship to Project Managers while maintaining a focus on budget, timeline, compliance, and stakeholder outcomes. This is a critical role within the business with scope to shape systems, drive performance, and influence business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers across multiple concurrent builds
* Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management
* Act as a key escalation point for delivery and performance challenges
* Ensure compliance with NCC, OH&S, and internal quality frameworks
* Support resource planning and procurement to maximise project efficiency
* Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams
* Drive a culture of accountability, quality, and team development
* Contribute to company-wide strategy and operational improvement
What You'll Bring
* Proven experience as a Project Director or Senior Project Manager in medium-density residential construction
* Deep knowledge of townhouses, duplexes, and multi-unit developments (Class 1 and 2)
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
* Advanced knowledge of construction contracts, project scheduling, and cost control
* Excellent stakeholder and client management capabilities
* Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management or similar
