We are currently recruiting for a full‐time or part‐time Manager Health and Safety based in Yatala or Brisbane, Queensland. Reporting directly to the Group Leader Health and Safety, the role will support the Safety team in delivering key objectives across Australia and NewZealand.
Responsibilities
* Provide practical WHS advice that supports organisational needs and ensures compliance with governance, legislative, and regulatory requirements, including monitoring changes to relevant laws.
* Establish and maintain effective reporting and assurance frameworks to identify hazards, manage non‐conformance and promote a lesson‐learnt culture.
* Coach and mentor leadership teams on WHS matters, legislative requirements, organisational procedures and processes, and best‐practice principles.
* Provide advice on WHS training requirements and work collaboratively with the L&D Team to identify external requirements and build fit‐for‐purpose internal modules that build capability and knowledge.
* Lead and support a team of State Advisors to roll out innovative Safety programmes, drive practical solutions and positive change.
Requirements
* Qualifications in Health and Safety or a related discipline.
* Minimum 7years WHS experience in leadership roles, ideally within the energy, construction and/or oil and gas industries.
* ICAM training or equivalent.
* Ability to travel intra‐ and interstate regularly.
* Australian Driver's Licence.
