We are looking for a Technical Lead to join an extremely successful and unique Fintech company in Sydney!
With full support and collaboration from the entire executive leadership team, We're looking for someone to build a foundational, hands-on, full-stack engineering team around them. The role offers a high degree of autonomy and responsibility to set up the team, implement software development practices, define the culture, identify and retain key talent, and build the best product team around.
A highly innovative scale-up that provides forex, indices, commodities, crypto, and stocks trading platforms has been expanding rapidly since its founding in 2016. They are headquartered in North Sydney, but operate globally.
Purpose of the Role:
Implement best practices for software development and sprint cycles
To be a key decision maker in the delivery of software design, architecture, requirements analysis, investigation of new technologies, and software development.
What you will be doing:
Review, assess and improve on the overall internal development practices
As the business grows, play a key role in nurturing fully fledged autonomous functioning product squads whose roadmap aligns with the business strategies and goals
What skills you need:
Full stack Engineering: PHP and associated frameworks, ideally Yii2.0 or similar
SQL, MySQL and relational databases
CI/CD, Git
'Nice to have' technical experience:
KYC/AML integrations Payment Gateway integrations
Salesforce / Marketing Cloud integrations
MT4 / MT5 Docker PD10 Redis MongoDB Python
C++ C#, Java
