A leading manufacturer of chemicals for the construction and mining industry is looking for a passionate recent graduate to join its team in South-Western production facility.
Your new role
Reporting to the Product Manager, you will:
* Conduct polyester resin chemistry investigations, liaising with suppliers, performing testing, and refining formulations.
* Conduct research and development projects, operating laboratory equipment and developing innovative formulations.
* Support plant trials and evaluations, ensuring optimal product performance.
* Assist with quality control processes, documentation, and compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
* Maintain laboratory organisation, housekeeping, and adherence to safe work procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
This role would suit a recent graduate with a chemistry-related degree or hands-on laboratory experience who is ready to apply their knowledge in a practical, real-world setting. To excel in this role, you should:
* Have experience handling chemicals safely, following SDS guidelines.
* Be self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working independently.
* Demonstrate precision in reporting, chemical handling, and workplace organisation.
* Be eager to learn and participate in ongoing training and development.
