Position Overview
We have the opportunity to welcome a Key Account Manager & Estimator into our growing team. This role is best suited to a self‑motivated, organised individual that understands the importance of follow‑up and follow‑through when it comes to delivering a great client experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing relationships with existing, well‑established clients, including multi‑national manufacturers of mobile plant and significant mining companies.
* Identifying potential opportunities and how Western Metalworx can bring value. Our team excels at finding simple solutions to complex problems.
* Planning, scheduling and executing meetings with existing or prospective clients.
* Setting the production team up for success by completing detailed and accurate scoping documents.
* Estimating and submitting quotes in a timely manner.
* Analysis, reporting and communication of sales/account activity.
Success Factors & Qualifications
* Exceptional communication skills in person, on the phone and by email.
* Great time‑management skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to methodically close out commitments without missing detail, as your pipeline grows.
* Eagerness to contribute to the growth and future success of the team and business.
* Understanding of metal fabrication and ability to build value in both custom fabricated solutions and working from client‑supplied drawings.

* Current Australian driver's licence.
